"This layered main dish needs to stand six hours or overnight before baking, so plan your schedule accordingly."
1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen Green Giant Broccoli, Cauliflower, and Carrots
7 slices white or wheat bread, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1 cup chopped cooked ham
1 1/2 cups milk
8 eggs
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
6 oz. (1 1/2 cups) shredded Cheddar cheese
Grease a 13x9-inch (3-quart) baking dish. Arrange frozen vegetables in bottom of greased baking dish; sprinkle with bread cubes and ham.
In medium bowl, combine milk, eggs, mustard, garlic powder and onion powder; beat well. Pour egg mixture over bread cubes and ham; sprinkle with cheese. Cover with plastic wrap; refrigerate at least 6 hours or overnight.
TO BAKE:
Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
Uncover casserole; bake 40 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.
Makes 8 to 10 servings
