time for roasting any bird because we are talking small bird to large turkey...and of course, they differ in ages and tenderness. I know that sometimes directions are given on the bird package, but take all with a grain of salt and add to the recommended time so bird is done. Like I was told, set the oven temp at 325 and cook for a longer time...this works for me! However, you will need to let experience be your guide...you don't want to serve slippery chicken (YUK). Brown and crisp on the outside and done to a turn inside!! When the legs move easily, and are about to fall off, your birdy is 'tout finis'! Hope this helps you...
