My ironing history...

Misc.

My mom taught me to iron on dish towels, sheets, etc. when I was about 9. I have 2 small kids, so there isn't much time to iron, but I do iron my church clothes. I agree that it can be theraputic. My husband is in the Navy, and for the first 3 years we were married, I ironed his uniforms almost every day. Now I'm burnt out, I guess, because I only do it if he asks me sweetly. (: His mom never taught him how to iron, which did me a great disservice. My dad and both of my brothers are iron fanatics and would never dream of wearing a pair of un-ironed jeans! I'll have to pass along this tip to them!
