Not only do you put me to shame with your wonderful menu ideas and complicated recipes - but NOW, you tell me that you have a "manicured" lawn - "sigh-----------"

I figured with your time-consuming recipes, there couldn't possibly be time left to do yard work -

I, too, love cooking, yard work, AND the red mulch. I haven't had time yet this fall to get my winter flowers and red mulch (for you shivering folks, down here in FL, you buy your annuals now for the winter months!)

Gina - have you ever had Portugese Kale soup? I made some the other day, and it was as good as ever. We summer on Cape Cod, out near Provincetown, which is predominantly Portugese, and their foods are so wonderful and spicey. Kale Soup is something I always have many times over the summer - I always order it from each restuarant, and every place makes it slightly different. This recipe is the best if anyone wants to try it.
