RE: Fixing a flop

Misc.

I have no idea what went wrong, first off, but may I suggest that if your spinach doesn't have that "burnt crust" flavor, that you go and add some onion soup mix and maybe some lowfat sour cream and make dip? You could always relent and make a thicker base of sour cream (add a little cornstarch if you use lowfat) and onion soup mix and try to salvage it into some sort of "impossible pie" with a Bisquick topping...

I'm just trying to think of something tasty and cheap. When I mess up, I usually want something easy and quick to eat.
;-)

Another idea: I bet you could even add some chopped up chicken and garlic... with some other spices instead... and maybe some mozarella cheese to make a fabulous topping for biscuits.

I'm cheap, too. I think in the future, I'd try to squeeze the water from the cooked spinach before I tried anything... and see if a thickener is needed, too.
