re: Grandma's Easy No Knead Peasant Bread

Misc.
I tried this recipe today because it sounded so easy - there's way too much liquid (or too little flour).

There is no way you can handle the dough (not dough, heavy batter!) and when you do the final step of dividing it and trying to shape the very loose batter/dough into loaves, it doesn't rise, they just spread out like big fluffy pancakes.

When I was making it, I was surprised at the amount of liquid (2 cups) since that's what I use when I'm using 6-7 cups of flour, not just 4 that this called for.

If I were to ever make it again, doubtful, I would put at least 5 cups of flour, maybe even a bit more.

Hope this saves someone the time and ingredients!
