Re: How To Fix Polk

Misc.

My mom used to fix polk all the time and she told me it was very important to
cook the leaves several times replacing the water (about 3 times) to remove the
"toxic" poisons.. I have a ton of polk growing around my house but havent
eaten it as an adult. My farrier picks it for his neighbor but only the tender tops.
