Re: Wax paper

Misc.
I, too, remember using wax paper on the playground slide. It was fantastic! What a great ride we got:->!! Being from this part of the country, we used to iron fall leaves between 2 pieces of wax paper to help preserve them. In fact, I did that just a couple of years ago to send to my daughter who was in college in Colorado. They have the aspens which turn lovely shades of yellow and gold but they don't have sugar maples that turn gorgeous shades of red, orange and rust. I sent pictures as well and her CO friends couldn't believe the colors. I highly recommend, if you have never been, coming to New England, or New York State, at least once, to see the show the leaves provide us with. We would call you a "leaf pepper :->!!!" Oops - got a little side tracked. Wax paper was and is the greatest. I still use it often. It's in my drawer right beside the plastic wrap and aluminum foil:-)
