Shirl: great fun!
Misc.I love the photo cutlines as much as anything. "Beautiful French pastry is the
joy of the woman with pastry-tube skill." But it's also a way to learn what my
parents had when they were starting out. And the recipes look great. Some
I've never heard of -- "party cake sticks," for example. "Bake sponge or angel
cake in a tube pan. When cake is cold, cut into wedges, force a wooden skewer
into broad end and cover entire piece with divinity icing." The picture looks
like something perfect for kids at a BBQ or picnic.
Take care. Enjoy those wonderful old cookbooks. I look for them every time I
stop at a rummage sale or estate sale.
