Aren't those books great to read?

It made me go in to the next room and check out my "Kate Smith" falling apart one -- it is the Anniversary one - 1940 for Swans Down - many of the recipe titles are the same. I also have (these are all sort of beat up - water logged or torn, etc. but they're THERE!) a 1933 THE LATEST CAKE SECRETS - again Swans Down - I love this one - it has a coupon (expires December 1935) where for $1.00 you can get a Swans Down Cake set (measuring spoon, wood spoon, square tin cake pan,tin angel food pan, wire  ake tester, staNDARd measuring cup, steel spatula, convenient batter scraper, copy of this booklet) ....$1.00!! And a little Baker's Best Chocolate Recipes - 1932. They are fun to read. Enjoy your book.
