Uses for Myrtle

I looked in The Complete Book of Herbs by Lesley Bremness and she suggests for uses:

USES FOR MYRTLE

DECORATIVE:
Branch - Use in wreaths

CULINARY:
Branch - Lay young branches under roast pork for last 10 minutes of cooking, or on barbecues when grilling lamb.

Flower - Remove bitter green part and add to fruit salads. Use powdered buds as a spice

Leaf - Stuff inside roast pork after cooking for a delicate flavor

Berry - Grind and use as a spice for a mulk juniper-berry flavor.

HOUSEHOLD:
Branch - Antiseptic strewing herb. Add a decoction to furniture polish
Cosmetic:

Flower and leaf - Pulverize and add to ointment for blemishes. Distill or infuse as a sweet water.

Berry = Decoct as a dark hair rinse.

AROMATIC:
Flower and leaf - Add to potpourri
