the poor guy thought he WAS speaking English!

Autistic kids are over-the-top smart, as you know. I know Brandon has come such a long way in the time we have known him (7 years). Like my younger child, he will be 14 this year. He has always gone to school in the regular school system, but, as far as I know, has always had a worker assigned to him in the classroom. As I hinted earlier, his mother is quite an aggressive person; altho it is not much fun to be anywhere near her (let alone in her sights!), she does get things done, if only by sheer force.

I can see how the lack of early intervention on JonEdrick's behalf would frustrate you. It seems to me, as well, that could only work in his favour. sigh...I think you are very wise and together to keep it to yourself, tho!!

I am happy he has you in his life, and I hope someday soon to meet all of you!
