Recipe(tried): Broccoli ideas

Here's a very good broccoli salad recipe I got from my sister in law. Not
necessarily good for you, but tasty never the less.
2 heads broccoli,chopped(if you do use part of the stem, you'll have to peel the
outer layer off, as it is inedible raw)
2 lbs. bacon (cooked until crisp)(I cook most of it in the micro, because it
cooks faster and you can get it crisp w/out standing over the stove all day)
1 medium red onion
2 cups shredded cheese (of your choice)
3 tomatoes (chopped)
2 pkgs. of Wishbone herb and garlic salad dressing, prepared according to pkg.
directions
Mix all ingredients.
You can half this recipe, but I have found when I half it, there isn't enough to
