These recipes call for frozen broccoli, but you can use fresh. We like these recipes for broccoli:
BROCCOLI BREAD
4 eggs
1 10 oz. pkg chopped broccoli
1 c. cottage cheese
1 med. onion
1 stick margarine
1 pkg corn bread mix
Grease bread pan. Bake at 400 35-45 min.
We love broccoli at my house -- just serve it with margarine or butter and
lemon juice.
Or how about:
SUPER BROCCOLI BAKE
2 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
1 pt. sour cream
2 cans cream of potato soup
Salt & pepper
Parmesan cheese
Thaw broccoli in strainer. Squeeze out water & place broccoli in baking dish.
Pour on sour cream, soup & seasonings. Cover with generous amount of cheese.
Bake 350 45 min.
OR
BROCCOLI CASSEROLE
2 pkg chopped broccoli or 1 bag
1 med onion
1 8 oz cream cheese
1 can mushroom soup
1 pkg (roll) Ritz crackers
1 stick margarine
Cook broccoli; add cream cheese & soup. Saute onion in margarine. Remove onion
from margarine and add to broccoli mixture. Pour into casserole dish and top
with crushed crackers. Bake 350 30 min.
OR
BROCCOLI CASSEROLE
1 bag broccoli
1 can cream of celery soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 sm. bottle Cheese Whiz or 1 can Cheddar Cheese Soup
Mix together and add to rice (amount up to you). Bake at 375 until heated
through.
