Recipe: Little Pigs in a Blanket (using cabbage leaves)

Main Dishes - Pork, Ham
LITTLE PIGS IN A BLANKET

1 large head of cabbage
boiling water
3/4 cup water or tomato juice
2 lb small sausage links

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Parboil cabbage in boiling water to cover until leaves are pliable and start to separate; drain. Separate leaves; trim off thick outer veins.

Roll each sausage link in a cabbage leaf. Layer rolls in a casserole dish or 10-inch baking pan. Add 3/4 cup of water or tomato juice.

Cover and bake at 350 degrees F for 75 minutes.
