Recipe: Grandma's Surprise Cake (using pie filling)

GRANDMA'S SURPRISE CAKE

2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1 (21 oz) can pie filling, any flavor

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 13x9-inch baking pan.

Mix the first 7 ingredients together well. Pour one half of the batter into prepared pan. Put the pie filling on top of the batter. Pour the remaining batter over the pie filling.

Bake 30-40 minutes or until done.

*NOTE: DO NOT use a cake mix
