Recipe: Jiffy Spanish Rice (microwave)

Main Dishes - Rice, Grains, Pasta
JIFFY SPANISH RICE

1 lb. ground chuck beef
1 cup precooked rice
1 (1 lb. 12 oz.) can tomatoes, undrained, cut up
1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
1 or 2 Tbsp. chili powder
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. salt

In 3 quart casserole, crumble beef. Microwave 5 to 6 minutes, stirring after 3 minutes. Drain.

Add all other ingredients. Stir. Cover and microwave 8 to 11 minutes.

Stir well; let stand, covered, about 5 to 10 minutes before serving.

Servings: 4-6
