1 cup brown sugar -- firmly packed
1/2 cup oleo, softened
1 egg -- beaten
1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or raisins

Mix Bisquick, rolled oats, sugar, oleo and egg with fork until moistened.
Add chocolate chips or raisins.
Press firmly and evenly into ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Bake at 350 F. for 15 to 17 minutes or until centre is set.
I often add both chocolate chips and raisins about cup each. DIET GRANOLA BAR
