Recipe(tried): a different taste for pancakes

Breakfast and Brunch
This isn't a recipe, just something my dear dad did.....
He always used beer as the liquid in pancake batter, the alcohol cooks out leaving a yummy sour dough taste. Also, flat beer is a base for a chicken marinade with fresh rosemary, crushed garlic, and sliced onions.
