I make this all the time and it is GREAT and exremely cheap. The most expensive item is the meat. You need:
1 lb ground beef (the fattiest kind is the cheapest)
1 small box store brand seasoned rice (I prefer mushroom!)
2 different kinds of Always save canned veggies (I usually use green beans and corn) or if you like use frozen broccoli and carrots.
Just cook it all (seperately of course) mix it all together, and voila, youve got a very cheap delicious dinner! I like to add a bit of shredded cheddar cheese to mine and some cayenne pepper to spice it up, but of course you dont need those! If you want to make it a bit heathier, try soaking the grease off of the hamburger with some paper towels, and then your kids have their protein, carbs, and veggies all in one meal! Hope I helped!
