Apple Brownies

1 stick (1/2 cup) butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
3 medium apples peeled and thinly sliced
1 cup plus 1 teaspoon flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 chopped nuts
Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in sugar; add egg, apples, flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nuts. Bake in 13x9" pan at 350 degrees for 30 min.
