Recipe: Apple Spice Butter (using apple jelly and orange juice)

APPLE SPICE BUTTER

"Flavored butters tailor foods to your moods. For spreading on breads and scones, tossing with pasta, topping baked potatoes, stirring into soup, melting overfish - you can easily perk up anything you cook or serve."

1 cup Land O Lakes Butter Light Butter, softened
2 tablespoons apple jelly
1 tablespoon orange juice
1 teaspoon honey
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

In small mixer bowl, beat butter at medium speed until creamy (1 to 2 minutes). Reduce speed to low; add all remaining ingredients. Continue beating until well mixed (2 to 3 minutes).

Cover; refrigerate at least 1 hour to enhance flavors.

Makes 1 cup
