Recipe: Apple Streusel Cobbler (using oats, sweetened condensed milk and pie filling)

2 cans (21 oz.) Comstock apple pie filling
2 eggs
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
FOR THE TOPPING:
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter, cold
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup Quaker quick oats, not cooked
Vanilla ice cream (optional, for serving)
Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
Spread apple filling in deep dish casserole (2-quart).
In bowl beat eggs; add condensed milk, melted butter and spices; mix well. Pour over apple filling.
In separate bowl combine flour and brown sugar; cut in cold butter until crumbly. Add nuts and oats. Sprinkle over custard mixture.
Bake approximately 1 hour or until set.
Serve warm plain or with vanilla ice cream.
