Recipe: Apples 'N Noodles

This recipe comes from a small booklet entitled, Old-Fashioned Apple Recipes.

APPLES 'N NOODLES

1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 Tablespoons butter
1 lb. boiled noodles, drained
3 cups chopped apples

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Combine granulated sugar, brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Reserve.

Melt butter in a baking dish and cover bottom of dish with half of the cooked noodles. Pour apples evenly over noodles. Sprinkle with 1/2 of the reserved sugar/cinnamon mixture. Cover with rest of noodles. Dot with butter and sprinkle with remaining cinnamon and sugar mixture.

Bake for 35 minutes.
