BAKED BULGUR WITH PECANS
1 cup bulgur wheat, uncooked
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/8 tsp salt
1/8 tsp ground black pepper
2 cups boiling water
1/4 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Lightly oil a 1 quart baking dish or spray with a nonstick cooking spray.
Place bulgur, basil, salt and pepper in prepared baking dish. Add boiling water and mix well. Cover tightly and bake 20 minutes.
Fluff with a fork, add pecans, and mix well. Serve hot.
Makes 6 servings
