Recipe(tried): Baked Corn Pudding

Side Dishes - Vegetables

Hi Judy, Here is a recipe I use often, However I usually make much larger amounts

Baked Corn Pudding

1 cup milk
2Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. salt
2 cups creamstyle corn
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 eggs, well beaten

combine ingredients. Mix well. Pour onto greased baking dish, set in pan of water. Bake at 400 degrees untill knife inserted in center comes out clean, about 30 minutes.

I do not use the pan of water but then I bake it at a lower temp. for a longer time and stir occasionally while it is baking.
This recipe is very easy to double and double again for lg. crowds. We always enjoy this, it is very often one of our holiday dishes.
