Recipe: Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

1-3/4 cups plus 2 tablespoons flour
1/3 cup sugar
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 cup mashed bananas
2/3 cup milk
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 egg, beaten to blend
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 425F. Line 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners.
Combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and baking powder in a large bowl.
Blend in banana, milk, oil and egg until just moistened. Mix in chocolate
chips.
Spoon batter into prepared tin.
Bake until tester inserted in center comes out clean, about 20 minutes.
