Recipe(tried): Bestest corn on the cob
Misc.When I was young, my mother served corn on the cob by boiling it to death. A few years ago (we won't say how much time has passed since I was young) I learned this technique instead:
Start with enough *cold* water to just cover the corn. Bring to a boil. At that point, remove the corn from the pan -- it's done perfectly!
