Recipe(tried): Big Caramel Apples (with nut and chocolate coating)

BIG CARAMEL APPLES

6 Granny Smith apples
popsicle sticks
2 packages Kraft Caramels
chopped nuts
chocolate melts (available at Michael's Craft Store)

Wash apples thoroughly and dry well. Insert popsicle sticks into the stem end of apples; set aside.

Place caramels in a heatproof bowl and melt in microwave.

Dip apples in melted caramel.

Roll in or sprinkle with nuts while caramel is soft.

Melt chocolate in microwave and spoon over the nut layer.

Allow to dry for 30 minutes. Then eat like crazy!
