Blueberry Pie

4 cups of blueberries
3 tablespoons of flour
3/4 cup white sugar or light brown sugar
4 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
optional: 2 tablespoons tapioca
Combine berries with dry ingredients, butter and tapioca. 1 1/4 cups raw almonds
2/3 cup raisins
1 T. carob powder
1 t. vanilla
2 t. brown rice syrup or maple syrup

Preheat oven to 425. Blend almonds in blender until they are a fine texture. Put in mixing bowl. Blend raisins and mix with almonds. Mix in carob, vanilla, and syrup. Roll out pastry crust and fit into 9-inch pie pan. Fill shell with berry mixture. Dot with margarine or butter. Bake on lower shelf of oven for 30-40 minutes.
