BOURBON HONEY-GLAZED HAM
1 cup Sue Bee clover honey
2/3 cup bourbon or other whisky
1/2 cup Smuckers orange marmalade (100% fruit)
1/3 cup molasses
1 (5-pound) whole bone-in smoked ham, fully cooked
1/8 cup McCormick whole cloves
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a medium saucepan over low heat, heat honey, bourbon, marmalade, and molasses for 15 minutes or until reduced by half, stirring occasionally. Set aside.
With a sharp knife, cut a diamond pattern into the fatty part of the ham.
Roast, uncovered, for 30 minutes. Baste occasionally with remaining glaze and continue to roast for another 15 minutes. Let ham stand for 20 minutes before slicing.
Tip: When measuring honey and molasses, spray measuring cup with nonstick cooking spray to easily remove them from cup.
Makes 10-12 servings
