Recipe: Bread Pudding

Desserts - Puddings, Gelatin
Bread Pudding
From: Kelly~WA

4 slices of white bread, scored
1 cup powdered sugar
1 stick margarine
3 cups milk
3 eggs
2/3 cup granulated sugar

Place bread in casserole dish. Combine the powdered sugar and margarine. DO NOT MELT THE MARGARINE, set out and let it come to room temperature. Sprinkle this mixture over top of bread.

Combine milk, eggs and granulated sugar. Beat
together and pour over the bread, powdered sugar and margarine. Sprinkle nutmeg over the top. Bake at 375 degrees for about 45 minutes or until a knife comes out clean. You can check the corners and see if the pudding lifts up good, or you can let the bread get brown.
