BUTTERMILK PIE WITH CHERRIES
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, melted
2 tablespoons flour
1 unbaked pie shell
1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
Mix together sugar, eggs, buttermilk, butter and flour. Pour into unbaked pie shell
Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool for about 15 minutes.
Pour cherry pie filling on top of pie and spread evenly.
Serve warm or chilled from the ice box.
