Recipe: Candied Pecans (using Splenda)

CANDIED PECANS
Source: Cook'n Low Carb by DVO Enterprises
Servings: 8
Carbohydrate Count: 9g per serving

1 cup SPLENDA
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon water
1 egg white
1 pound pecans

In one bowl mix splenda, cinnamon and salt.

In second bowl, put water and egg white. Beat to a froth, but not stiff.

Mix pecans with egg whites until coated. Add to sugar mixture and stir until sugar is all used up.

Spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray. Spread nuts on baking sheet.

Bake at 300 F. for 45 minutes, stirring every few minutes.
