Recipe: Cheese Spreads: Garlic, Parmesan, and Almond

Cheese Spreads

Basic Spread
Yield: 2 2/3 Cups

2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 Cup sour cream
3 Tbsp. mayonnaise

Beat cheese, add sour cream and mayo. Whip until smooth. Basic Spread will make one each of the following recipes.

Garlic

1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. Fines Herbs
1/8 tsp. Tabasco (or other hot) sauce
1 cup Basic Spread

Mix all ingredients. Fill container and sprinkle with herbs. Serve with assorted crackers.

Cheese

1/3 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
3/4 tsp. onion salt
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 Cup basic spread

Mix all ingredients. Fill container and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Serve with assorted crackers or apple wedges.

Almond

1/4 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup sugar
1/8 cup golden raisins
1/8 cup slivered almonds, lightly toasted
2/3 cup Basic Spread

Mix all ingredients. Fill container and sprinkle with raisins or almonds. Serve with assorted fruits or crackers.
