Recipe(tried): Chocolate Fudge Frosting

Desserts - Fillings, Frostings
Not sure if this is it or not, but is a vry good recipe.

CHOCOLATE FUDGE FROSTING

4 ounces unsweetened chocolate
3/4 cup evaporated milk
1 cup sugar

Melt chocolate in the top of a double boiler. Cool slightly

Blend evaporated milk an sugar in a blender on medium speed for about 2 seconds.

Add the chocolate to the sugar mixture in the blender and blend on high speed until the frosting is thick and shiny - about 1 1/2 minutes. The blenders sound will change when the frosting has thickened.

Spoon the frosting into a bowl and allow to set at room temperature for 30 min.

Then cover will plastic wrap and set 1 hour before you use to frost cake. DO NOT REFRIGERATE - even if you don't use for a couple of days.

Makes enough to fill and frost an 8-inch (2 layer) cake.

Enjoy....this is my friends recipe and it is very good!
