Cranberry Muffins:
Yields about 1 dozen medium sized muffins

1/2 c.powdered sugar
3/4 c.cranberries,coarsely chopped
2 c.flour
3 tsp.baking powder
1/2 tsp.salt
1/4 c.granulated sugar
1 egg,beaten
1 c.milk
4 Tbsl.butter,melted
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Sprinkle powdered sugar over the cranberries & toss together.Set aside.Sift together flour,baking powder,salt & sugar.Combine the egg,milk & melted butter,add the dry ingredients till they are completely absorbed.
Stir in the cranberries till completely blended.Spoon into greased & floured muffin tins,to about 2/3 full.Bake for 20 minutes ot till a toothpick comes out clean.
