Recipe: Cream Puff Cake

Desserts - Pastries

Hi Carrie,

This is similar to what you're describing. Hopefully someone has the exact
recipe.

Betsy

Cream Puff Cake

Lightly grease 9 x 13 inch pan and spread batter in pan.

Crust
1 cup water
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter or margarine
1 cup flour
4 eggs

Bring water and margarine to a boil. Stir in flour until it forms a ball. Cool.
Beat in eggs one at a time. Bake at 450 degrees F for 15 minutes, then 350
degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. (Note - I've seen similar recipes for this with the
baking time: 400 degrees/25-30 minutes)

Filling - Beat together until smooth:
3 cups milk
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. instant pudding (any flavor)

Spread on cooled crust.

Top with non-dairy whipped topping
Garnish with lines of chocolate syrup across top
