Recipe: Deviled Nuts

Appetizers and Snacks
DEVILED NUTS

3 tablespoons LAND O LAKES Butter, melted
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper*
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin*
1 pound (4 1/2 cups) pecan halves, walnut halves, whole almonds and/or mixed nuts

Heat oven to 300 degrees F. Combine butter, Worcestershire sauce, salt, ground red pepper and cumin in medium bowl; mix well. Add nuts; toss until well coated.

Place nuts into ungreased 13x9-inch baking pan.

Bake, stirring every 10 minutes, for 30 minutes. Cool completely. Store in tightly covered container.

If you prefer more 'fire power', increase the amount of red pepper and cumin in the recipe.

Servings: 18 (1/4-cup each)
