Dinner Rolls (Bread Machine)

Makes: 18
2 1/2 teaspoons yeast
1/4 cup sugar
3 cups bread flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 large egg
1/4 cup shortening
3 tablespoons powdered milk
1 1/2 cups water -- warmed
Put all the ingredients in order into the bread maker.
Select the sweet bread/manual cycle for the bread maker.
Only allow it to kneed and rise one time.
Grease hands and pinch off pieces and place on a cookie sheet that has been sprayed with non-stick spray.
Let rise until double.
Bake for 15-18 minutes at 350
NOTES : These can be made with a mixer if you use less flour. Add flour 1/2 cup at a time to the liquids until the mixture starts to pull away from the sides of the bowl. No kneading necessary.
