Breakfast and Brunch
DONUT HOLES

Oil for deep frying
4 cups Jiffy Baking Mix
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon vanilla
Cold water, about 1 1/3 cups (as needed)
Cinnamon-sugar or powdered sugar (optional)

Heat old in deep fryer to 375 to 400 degrees F.

Mix all (dry) baking mix, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg together, add vanilla and enough cold water to make a stiff dough. Roll out dough on floured surface into balls the size of walnuts.

Drop balls a few at a time in hot oil and fry until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

Roll in a cinnamon-sugar mixture or in powdered sugar, if desired.
