Recipe(tried): Easy Pickle Recipe

Preserving - Pickles, Relishes

I have tried this pickle recipe and just wanted to share it. It is really good!

Easy Pickles
1 - 46 oz jar Vlasic Kosher Dill Pickles
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 to 1 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
2-3 cloves of garlic, chopped fine

Drain pickles. SAVE JUICE! Discard 1/2 cup pickle juice. Dissolve 1 cup of packed brown sugar in remaining juice. Cut pickles into eighths. Place a lyer of pickles in jar, then sprinkle small amount of crushed red pepper, then sprinkle small amount of garlic. Keep making these layers until jar is full. Pour your sweetened juice over top of pickles. Close tightly. Let sit at room temperature for 24 hours and then refrigerate. You will love these! You are not sure if you are eating a sweet pickle or a dill pickle. And they have just a little spice to them which makes them even better. ENJOY!!
