Recipe(tried): Hodge Podge Pickles

Preserving - Pickles, Relishes
This is the recipe I have for Hodge Podge

HODGE PODGE PICKLES

1 gallon cucumbers, cut up
5 cups sugar
1 quart chopped cabbage
1 lb. onions, chopped
2 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. celery seeds
1 tbsp. mustard seeds
1 cup prepared mustard
1 cup vinegar

5 heaping tbsp. flour + 1 cup vinegar

Put first 9 ingredients in large pan. Stir well and let come to a boil.

Then mix together flour and the remainig 1 cup vinegar together. Add to pan and to thicken. Bring to good boil.

Put in jars, cool, then seal. Store in refrigerator.
