Recipe(tried): Fermented Italian Fruit Syrups

Beverages
Dear Jean,

Here is a re-post of something I cut out of Sunset a number of years ago:

Recipe(tried): Italian Splashes -

Fermented Italian Fruit Syrups and Recipes Using the Syrups - Water Cooler, Italian Wine Cooler, Fruit Syrup Sundae, Granita)

Someone gave me a lug of cling peaches last week. I didn't want to make jam, so I'm fermenting the peach pulp and will make peach syrup.

I hope you'll give this a try. I think you might enjoy it (especially with delicious wild blackberry juice).
