Recipe: Fiery Baked Beans (with chipotle)

Side Dishes - Beans
FIERY BAKED BEANS

2 cans (16 ounces each) no-salt-added navy beans, drained
1 cup ketchup (no salt added)
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 Tbsp. maple syrup
1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. canned chipotle chile peppers in adobo sauce, finely chopped
1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
Salt and pepper (to taste)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a 7x11-inch shallow baking dish with cooking spray.

In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. Pour into prepared baking dish.

Bake 45 minutes.

Makes 8 servings
