Recipe(tried): Five Hour Beef Stew

FIVE HOUR BEEF STEW

1 1/2 lbs. cubed beef, 6 carrots, 1 cup celery, 1 Tbls. sugar, 1/4 cup bread crumbs, 3 onions, 1 cup tomatoes, 1 Tbls. salt, 3 Tbls. tapioca, 2 Tbls. worchestershire. Chop onions, carrots and celery. Chopped potatoes maybe added (I usually do), approx. 1 cup. Put all ingredients; except potaotes, in a covered pan and bake for 5 hours at 250 degrees. Add the potatoes the last 2 hours of baking. The recipe doesn't call for it but, I add about 1/4 - 1/2 cup burgundy wine.
