Fixing Runny Jams - Remaking Soft Jellies (click here)
In reply to:
Help I canned apricot jam on Wed of last week. I used Sure Jell and Fruit Jell pectin. The batch with Sure Jell is nice and firm and tastes yummy. The batch with Fruit Jell is still a runny mess. Is there any way to salvage this? I don't mind if I have to open them all and add more Pectin, or sugar, my hunch is that there was more apricot added than the recipe called for ( I had a helper!)
Thanks
