Recipe(tried): Ginger Drink (like Ginger Ale)

GINGER DRINK

FOR THE GINGER SYRUP:
2 cups peeled and sliced ginger
2 cups sugar
2 cups water
TO SERVE:
ice water or club soda

TO MAKE THE GINGER SYRUP:
Combine ginger, sugar, and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer for 1 hour. Strain off and you will have ginger syrup.

TO SERVE:
Mix the ginger syrup with ice water to taste or add to club soda to make your own ginger ale.

Enjoy, its a good recipe.
