Recipe: Cinnamon-Kissed Chicken (crock pot)

CINNAMON-KISSED CHICKEN

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
1/2 cup red wine vinegar, fat-free salad dressing
1 teaspoon fresh orange zest*
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/2-by 4-inch-long strips

Spray a slow cooker with nonfat cooking spray.

In a bowl mix together the cinnamon, brown sugar, salad dressing, and orange zest.

Place the chicken in the cooker and cover with salad dressing mixture.

Cover and cook on high for 3 to 4 hours or on low for 6 to 8 hours.

Servings: 4 (5 oz each)
