Recipe(tried): Green Sauce for Chiles Rellenos - My take on sauce for rellenos

I too, enjoy the sauce served at serveral Mexican restaurants in our state but have been unable to get the recipe for them. What I use at home is a good quality canned green enchilada sauce (I use Macayo's or Hatch normally). I rough chop yellow onion and simmer it in the sauce so that it cooks down a bit. This is not exactly the taste from the restaurants we enjoy, but very yummy anyway. Let us know if you find the secret! I'm still looking in AZ myself!-Micha
